AirX Biodegradable Face Mask is Made From Vietnamese Coffee
AirX has launched the world’s first biodegradable face mask that’s made from Vietnamese coffee. This mask is also reusable and antibacterial. Designed by ShoeX, this sustainable face mask can help prevent the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus while preserving the planet – as it’s reusable and antibacterial at the same time. According to the company, eco-friendliness was their primary motive when they were designing this mask.
AirX masks are created with 99.99% dual antibacterial technology that offers two layers of antimicrobial protection to the wearer. The first layer of protection is made from coffee yarn that’s contrived with PowerKnit technology and also offers comfortable fit and softness to the sensitive skin.
This face mask includes a biodegradable filter, which is also made from coffee with nanotechnology. Each coffee mask and coffee filter (which can be bought from the ShoeX website) boast a custom-designed three-layer packaging to ensure sterilized function. While the filter doesn’t need washing but can be replaced after 30 days, the mask is washable for reuse.
Another good thing about this coffee mask is that it has an amazing natural coffee aroma, unlike those bad-smelling face masks we’re all tired of wearing. Moreover, the mask also offers UV protection to the user with fashionable designs and stylish color options to match their everyday outfits.
AirX has received AATCC 100 certification (the textile industry’s standard for antimicrobial fabric performance in the US) from QUATEST 3. According to Thanh Le, founder of ShoeX, the company is further planning to produce a recycled AirX coffee mask with the N95 feature.
With AirX, the company is trying to deliver a healthy, 100-percent vegan solution to everyone dealing with COVID-19 pandemic. Probably, every global caffeine connoisseur will remember this coffee mask as Vietnam’s aromatic effort to combat novel coronavirus pandemic.
